The "Lemon Ladies" Meyer lemon orchard of 44 dwarf size trees in Redwood City (Emerald Hills) was planted by Karen Morss in 2004, with each tree named after a woman who inspired her.

Sadly Karen has passed away, but her husband Dave discovered Village Harvest last year and we were happy to help him share Karen's legacy orchard again in 2020. With 39 enthusiastic volunteers, we harvested over 3500 pounds of beautiful meyer lemons and delivered them to a local food agency. We are sharing some of our favorite harvest photos here - Enjoy!
